Hideo brings a wealth of experience driving change, innovation, and go-to-market strategies in the technology industry, having served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the nearly $2 billion corporate division of a multinational media conglomerate where he led their business-to-business (B2B) marketing team and was responsible for the corporate tax and legal business that includes both service and software offerings.
With a strong marketing technology background and 27 years of experience, Hideo will help position Ryan as a market leader in tax technology.
Previously, Hideo also served as Vice President, Global B2B Demand Generation and Sales Enablement at a global technology firm where he turned around 10 consecutive quarters of erosion of customer buyer base and achieved growth in three of four global regions in a mature and consolidating market. Accountable for investment planning and returns to support global revenue share and margin targets, Hideo has managed teams in the United States; Latin America; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Asia-Pacific and Japan.
Hideo began his career in the technology sector in Japan and is a self-described “techie” who holds several software and marketing certifications. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
