Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company, a national provider of state & local tax consulting and software implementation services, today announced the opening of its ninth office located in Cleveland, Ohio. The firm has signed a long-term lease for 10th floor office space in the Bank One Center located at 600 Superior Avenue, East, Cleveland, Ohio 44114. Duggan Realty Advisors, L.L.C. of Dallas, Texas represented Ryan & Company in connection with the transaction.
Ryan & Company named Mr. Nicholas Longo, Senior Manager, to head the new office. In his new position, Mr. Longo will focus on business development, service delivery, and recruiting efforts in the Ohio and Midwest market, building on Ryan & Company's existing presence and service delivery nationally. He will also support Ryan & Company's many national accounts that operate in the region. According to G. Brint Ryan, Ryan & Company Managing Principal, "Many of our most important clients have significant operations in the Midwest, and particularly in Ohio. Our Cleveland office will enhance our ability to serve our clients and help us attract and retain the best technical tax team possible."
Prior to joining Ryan & Company, Mr. Longo established his expertise in state and local taxes with over 14 years of experience in industry and consulting positions. Mr. Longo's experience includes 4 years as the Ohio Practice Leader and Senior Manager for a Big 5 national accounting firm. Mr. Longo also served as the Director of Taxation for a large retailer and as the State Tax Manager for a multi-national manufacturer operating in all 50 states.
