Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect tax practice in North America, today announced that Allea Newbold has joined the management team as Principal to support the continued growth in the Firm’s Credits and Incentives practice. Ms. Newbold will be based in the Tampa, Florida office.
Prior to joining Ryan, Ms. Newbold was Managing Director with a tax and business advisory firm and held senior-level executive positions at two national accounting firms. She has extensive experience managing negotiated tax credits and incentives for middle market and Fortune 1000 companies, including sales tax sharing, tax increment financing, property tax abatements, and development grants. She has additional expertise in accounting for income taxes, as well as federal and state tax consulting and compliance. Ms. Newbold has achieved industry recognition as a strategic thought leader and is a frequent speaker and instructor at various tax seminars throughout the country. Ms. Newbold holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia.
