Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America, today announced that the Firm has promoted Delta Emerson to President, Global Shared Services. Ms. Emerson will be responsible for global leadership of a team of almost 150 professionals in Corporate Development, Corporate Excellence, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Marketing, Philanthropy, Real Estate, Facilities and Office Services, and Strategy and Business Excellence operations who serve Ryan associates worldwide. She will report directly to the Chairman and CEO and is based in the Dallas, Texas office.
Ms. Emerson previously served as Ryan’s Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff, and prior to that, as CHRO and Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Learning, and Organizational Development. She was the inaugural recipient of the Ryan Chairman’s Award, which is the highest level of recognition the Firm awards annually to the associate that best reflects the Ryan core values while delivering outstanding results. Some of the many accomplishments throughout her career with Ryan include the design and implementation of the Firm’s internationally recognized flexible work environment, called myRyan. Since its inception, the Firm has dramatically improved employee retention and satisfaction, and Ryan associates have achieved the highest client satisfaction ratings in the history of the Firm. Ms. Emerson is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to change management and corporate culture. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Wednesday’s Child, and is a member of the Executive Leadership team of the American Heart Association “Go Red for Women.” She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Angelo State University in English, Journalism, and Education and a Master of Arts degree in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management from Southern Methodist University.
