This notice has been issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) to explain the conditions under which non-residents without a permanent establishment in Canada, who export softwood lumber products, are required to provide and maintain security with the CRA. In addition, the notice identifies the types of security acceptable to the CRA and the amount of security that is required to be posted.
