The province has updated this bulletin which provides information on how persons with certain disabilities may apply for a refund of provincial fuel tax paid on gasoline, diesel or propane used in their vehicles. Effective July 1, 2010, propane is exempt from motor fuel tax. Persons with a qualifying disability may claim a refund of the motor fuel tax paid on propane purchased up to and including June 30, 2010.
