British Columbia has a number of bulletins that cover refunds of Provincial Sales Tax (“PST”), each providing an example that details the time limits for filing refunds. The following bulletins have recently been revised to correct the dates used in the examples:
Several revisions were also made to Bulletin PST 402, “PST Refunds on Charity-Funded Purchases of Medical Equipment”, which details the PST refund available to eligible charities purchasing certain medical equipment. More examples of qualifying medical equipment have been included, the eligibility of roll carts has been changed, and the date in the refund example has been corrected in this document.
