Robin Sigur is a Principal in Ryan’s State Income and Franchise Tax Consulting practice, based in the Firm’s Houston office. She advises clients on multistate income and franchise tax matters, helping organizations manage risk, resolve controversy, and implement compliant, defensible tax strategies across complex state tax environments.
Robin brings deep technical expertise with a particular focus on Louisiana and other Gulf Coast states. Her experience spans tax refund reviews, audit controversy, voluntary disclosure agreements, multistate planning and structuring, due diligence, and income and franchise tax compliance. Prior to joining Ryan, Robin held senior leadership roles in public accounting and served within the Louisiana Department of Revenue, giving her valuable insight into both taxpayer and taxing authority perspectives. She is also an active contributor to client education through frequent speaking engagements for professional and industry organizations.
