The B.C. Employer Training Grant (ETG) supports skills training to address provincial labour market needs. The program is delivered by the Province of British Columbia and is funded by the Government of Canada through the Workforce Development Agreement.
Access training grants for up to 80% of eligible costs to a maximum $10K/trainee receiving third-party training up to $300K per fiscal year.
Businesses and organizations located in British Columbia that meet requirements can apply.
Training is relevant to the immediate needs of the business and participant’s job, and creates an impact for the trainee.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with funding decisions typically decided 60 business days from the date of application.
