Eurostars Call 11 is an international funding opportunity that supports international collaborative R&D and innovation projects. It is designed for innovative SMEs in the leading role, working with other project partners to develop new products, processes, or services that can be easily commercialised.
Total funding amount for UK applicants: £2.5 million
Maximum award amount per project: £360,000
Funding is managed by each country’s National Funding Body, and the rules vary by country.
Eligible Applicants
Eurostars supports innovative SMEs and project partners in international collaborative R&D and innovation projects.
Eligible applicant types include:
Innovative SMEs
Large companies
Universities
Research organisations
Other types of organisations
The project consortium must meet these core eligibility conditions:
The consortium must be led by an innovative SME from a Eurostars country
The consortium must include at least two independent entities
Those entities must come from at least two Eurostars countries
At least one organisation must come from an EU or Horizon Europe Associated Country
The budget of the SMEs from a Eurostars country, excluding subcontracting, must be 50% or more of the total project cost
No single participant or country may be responsible for more than 70% of the project budget

The grant is designed to support international collaborative R&D and innovation projects in all fields. Projects should:
