Douglas brings extensive leadership experience across public accounting, tax technology, and government. He has held senior leadership roles overseeing sales and use tax, property tax, and tax technology practices across the United States, and has advised clients in highly regulated industries including telecommunications and utilities. He has also played a key role in assisting clients with the implementation of Puerto Rico’s sales tax structure, working directly with the Commonwealth’s Treasury Department to provide regulatory insight and best practice guidance. Known for his strategic perspective and practical execution, Douglas is a frequent speaker on transaction tax, tax technology, and governance-related topics.
