Geoff Garber is a Principal at Ryan, where he advises companies on federal specialty income tax incentives and other strategic tax planning opportunities. He focuses on helping organizations maximize value from complex federal programs, including the research & development (R&D) tax credit, Section 179D energy-efficient commercial building deductions, cost segregation studies, and advanced manufacturing and clean energy credits under Sections 48E, 45Y, 45X, and 45Z, among others.

With more than 15 years of experience in specialty tax, Geoff brings a multidisciplinary perspective that blends scientific training, legal expertise, and deep knowledge of federal tax legislation.
