Overview

Sue Robinson is a Principal in Ryan’s Employment Tax practice, based in the Firm’s London office. She advises organizations on UK and international employment tax matters, helping clients manage compliance, governance, and workforce-related tax risks across increasingly complex regulatory environments. Sue works closely with HR, finance, payroll, and executive leadership teams to develop practical, commercially grounded solutions that align tax strategy with broader workforce and operational objectives.

With more than 35 years of experience spanning government, Big Four advisory, and multinational client environments, Sue brings deep expertise in employment tax planning, governance, reward strategy, and employee benefits. She has led complex global engagements involving alternative dispute resolution, governance framework implementation, and broader workforce transformation initiatives for major multinational organizations. Known for her collaborative leadership style and pragmatic approach, Sue combines technical depth with practical execution to help organizations navigate evolving employment tax obligations with clarity and confidence. At Ryan, she is leading the development of the Firm’s UK Employment Taxes team, focused on delivering technology-enabled solutions and exceptional client service across domestic and international markets.
