Based in Atlanta, Tom is the Senior Vice President, Data Products and Services, for Ryan’s tax.com™ division. He has more than 30 years of experience as a tax professional in government, consulting, and the energy industry. As a member of the leadership team, he will focus on the comprehensive product management of tax.com property tax solutions, ensuring a seamless journey from the acquisition of data to appeal management to final payment. Since joining Ryan in 2019, Tom has been instrumental in building our Innovation team.
Prior to joining Ryan, he was a director at an international accounting firm focused on innovation. He also worked at General Electric Company for nearly 22 years, where he led the global tax technology management practice for GE Power, Renewables, and Energy Connections, a $35 billion global business unit, focused on all tax domains. He previously led a program management office charged with global indirect tax enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations and was a leader in multistate tax practice. Tom began his career as a tax auditor for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
