On Tuesday 8 November 2016, the EU finance ministers agreed on a common approach to blacklist non-EU tax havens. The specific criteria have not been decided yet, but countries and jurisdictions will have to follow the international transparency standards and implement the BEPS initiative. The first list is expected to be published in the course of the next year.
