On June 3, 2016, the European Commission (EC) published a working paper on state aid and tax rulings, which summarizes all the measures taken by the EC in the member states as well as tax policies of corporate groups.
The working paper highlights the significant differences of tax ruling practices with some member states having issued numerous rulings, whereas other member states having issued none. In addition, the granting of TP ruling by the member states is in line with the procedural guidance provided by the EU and OECD.
