Prince Edward Island has issued this notice to inform taxpayers that, effective June 1, 2009, the Prince Edward Island gasoline tax on gasoline increases to 15.8 cents per litre from 14.9 cents per litre and on diesel oil increases to 19.0 cents per litre from 18.9 cents per litre.
