The province of Prince Edward Island has issued this notice to clarify the tax treatment under the International Fuel Tax Agreement (“IFTA”) for fuel purchased in Georgia. Effective May 1, 2009, tax rates on gasoline increased from $.0383 per litre to $.0420 per litre.
