Prince Edward Island has issued this notice to inform taxpayers that, effective May 1, 2009, the Prince Edward Island gasoline tax on gasoline increases to 14.9 cents per litre from 14.8 cents per litre and on diesel oil decreases to 18.9 cents per litre from 19.3 cents per litre.
