The province has issued this new bulletin which explains how tax applies on vehicles, boats and aircraft purchased in British Columbia at a private sale or brought into British Columbia. In addition, there is also a new webpage for the Tax on Designated Property, which contains publications, forms and legislation related to the tax.
Please note that this bulletin has been revised in October, 2010 to provide further clarification on the exemptions from the tax on designated property.
