The Canada Revenue Agency has issued this info sheet which explains the disclosure requirements for a builder who sells newly constructed or substantially renovated housing in Ontario or British Columbia. In addition, the disclosure requirements are discussed that apply to builders whose resale of a previously grandparented housing is subject to the HST in Ontario (13%) or British Columbia (12%).
