The province of Prince Edward Island has issued this guide to provide information to individuals and businesses that purchase taxable goods outside the province. Individuals and businesses that purchase taxable goods (through the internet, mail order or any other method) for consumption or use in Prince Edward Island are responsible for the payment of PST on those purchases. Tax is due at the time of delivery in the province, at a rate of 10% of the fair value, which includes GST paid.
