The Canada Revenue Agency has revised GST/HST Notice No. 253 in order to include the new remittance rates for the Public Service Bodies (“PSBs”) using the Special Quick Method in Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and other participating and non-participating provinces. The notice also outlines the requirement to file Form RC7066-SCH where any PSB is claiming a rebate of the provincial component of the HST paid. In addition, the questions dealing with PSBs and the new electronic filing requirements have been removed.
