This general guide issued by Manitoba Finance, has recently been revised. This guide provides information for businesses and other organizations in order to help them determine if they need to register for Manitoba taxation. The guide now references the tax on payroll as Health and Post Secondary Education Tax Levy (HET) and tax on fuel as Fuel Tax that was formerly known in the province as Motive Fuel Tax.
