Prince Edward Island is requesting information from industry groups as part of its implementation of HST in the province, which is scheduled to take effect on April 1, 2013. The questionnaire asks general questions about the activities of industry, as well as the current GST and PST practices of businesses operating in Prince Edward Island. The province also invites comments regarding industry’s perception of the impact that HST will have on business, and allows requests for one-on-one meetings with the Department of Finance, Energy and Municipal Affairs regarding the tax.
