British Columbia PST Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for provincial sales tax (PST) in British Columbia, which will be re-implemented effective April 1, 2013. Businesses that supply taxable goods, taxable services or software in British Columbia can register for PST in one of three ways, starting January 2, 2013.

Registration may be completed using one of the following: 

• Online  - www.gov.bc.ca/etaxbc/register;
• In person at the nearest Service BC Centre; or
• By mail or fax by completing the Application for Registration for Provincial Sales Tax (FIN 418) found at www.gov.bc.ca/pst.

Please note that a new PST number will be assigned once the application is processed.
