Relief From Tax Return Deadlines for Flooding Victims

In response to the significant impact of the recent flooding in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, both provinces have offered relief from the deadlines normally imposed on tax returns for Manitoba Retail Sales Tax and Saskatchewan Provincial Sales Tax.

Both provinces require that requests be made in writing, and include details on the business and information on the circumstances which prevented the business from filing their return by the deadline.  For further details, please see the links below:
