Prince Edward Island recently issued Gasoline Tax Notice GTN 273, “Tax Exemption Permits” to discuss the expiry dates of certain permits and the resultant implications. Specifically, holders of “Marked Gasoline” and “Marked Diesel Oil” permits that expire on January 31, 2015 must re-apply for a new permit.
An application form must be completed for each operation eligible for the exemption and must be accompanied by a $10 issuance fee. These applications, along will all supporting documentation, must be submitted no later than November 14, 2014.
