CRA Updates Guide for GST/HST and QST Annual Information Return for SLFIs

The Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) has updated Guide RC7219, “GST/HST and QST Annual Information Return for Selected Listed Financial Institutions” for the 2014 taxation year.  This guide should be used by a reporting institution that is a selected listed financial institution (“SLFI”) for GST/HST or QST purposes, or both, and is a registrant for GST/HST and QST purposes. 

The guide has been updated with a summary of services available online, including options to file returns and certain elections and request or delete authorized representatives.

In addition, the guide discusses filing instructions, record keeping requirements and adjustments, and provides detailed explanations of each section of the return.
