Saskatchewan Tax Return Relief for Businesses Impacted by Northern Fires

In response to the significant impact of the recent forest fires, the province of Saskatchewan has offered relief from the deadlines normally imposed on tax returns for Saskatchewan Provincial Sales Tax.

The province requires that a request for relief be made in writing and submitted to the Ministry of Finance. Businesses should include details such as their location and information on the fire-related circumstances that interfered with their ability to file the return by the deadline.
