Saskatchewan Provides Relief for Businesses Affected by Flooding

The Province of Saskatchewan has issued Information Notice IN 2016-03, “Notice to Businesses Impacted by Flooding”, to outline the process under which these businesses may apply for a reprieve from penalties and interest due to late filing.

Taxpayers must submit a written request, along with details of the location of the business and the circumstances that prevented it from filing its return(s) on time, in order for the additional charges to be waived.
