On June 1, 2016, the Honourable Robert C. McLeod, Minister of Finance, presented the fiscal 2016 – 2017 Northwest Territories budget. This year’s budget focuses on fiscal sustainability, eliminating unnecessary spending and strategies to fund government programs.
There were no significant tax changes introduced in the budget.
