The Ontario Ministry of Finance has revised its Information Sheets for “Tax-Included Pricing and Requirements for Beer Vendors, Wineries and Certain Authorized Grocery Stores”, which outlines the requirements to disclose beer and wine taxes included in the price of taxable purchases.
The Wine Tax Information Sheets were revised to reflect the increase in the basic wine tax rates for non-Ontario wine and wine coolers, effective June 1, 2016, which were introduced in the 2016 Ontario budget. Additional information on this change can be found at:
