British Columbia Updates Refunds Bulletin

British Columbia has updated Bulletin PST 400, “PST Refunds,” to clarify the documentation required to support a refund claim filed by taxpayers. Third-party evidence, such as a cleared cheque or statement from the supplier, is required to support the refund claim. In addition, the province noted it prefers that supporting records be submitted in an electronic format on a USB flash drive device.
