Revenu Québec Issues Guide to Preparing Electronic Accounting Records

Revenu Québec has issued IN-425V, “Guide to Preparing Electronic Accounting Records”, to outline what is required in order to submit electronic books and records electronically where they are requested under audit.

The guide specifies required data fields by file type which must be included in any electronic files provided, as well as sample images of the various forms of required data.  In addition, the document notes the electronic file formats currently accepted by Revenu Québec and file validations required prior to submission.
