The Government of Alberta has released the publication, Alberta, “Mobile Service Rigs Rebate for Carbon Levy on Clear Fuel.” The Ministry of Finance will pay a rebate equal to the amount of carbon levy paid on clear gasoline, or diesel, used in a licensed service rig operating in an oil and gas production process. The rebate is available retroactively to January 1, 2017, and will expire on December 31, 2022.
