Saskatchewan Issues News Release Regarding PST and the Federal Carbon Tax

The Saskatchewan government has issued news release NR2019/04/01, which clarifies that provincial sales tax (PST) will not be applied to federal carbon tax in the province. Consequently, PST will not be charged on any carbon tax embedded in utility bills received from SaskPower or SaskEnergy.
