British Columbia Updates Publications Following the 2020 Budget

The British Columbia Ministry of Finance recently updated several publications and bulletins to reflect tax changes announced in its 2020 budget. Listed below are the bulletins and notices updated that relate to commodity taxes:

• Provincial Sales Tax (PST) Bulletin PST 110, “Production Machinery and Equipment Exemption”;
• Provincial Sales Tax (PST)  Bulletin PST 111, “Mining Industry”;
• Provincial Sales Tax (PST)  Bulletin PST 113, “Oil and Gas Industry – Producers and Processors”;
• Tax Schedule, “Carbon Tax Rates by Fuel Type”; and
• Webpage, “Heated Tobacco Products”.
