CRA Updates Info Sheets for Charities and Qualifying Non-Profit Organizations

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has updated the GST/HST Info Sheets for charities and qualifying non-profit organizations (NPOs) to account for changes in tax and rebate rates since the last revision. 

The Info Sheets provide guidance for calculating the public service bodies’ (PSBs) rebate using both the actual and regular methods. The regular method is used by an organization resident in more than one province where at least one province is a participating province, and the organization is not a selected PSB. Examples of calculations are included to assist PSBs in completing portions of the rebate form.
