Manitoba has revised retail sales tax (RST) Information Bulletin No. 056, “Legal Services,” to clarify that the preparation of specified estate planning documents are RST exempt legal services. Specified estate planning documents include a will, a directive as defined in The Health Care Directives Act, or a power of attorney related to these documents.
