Manitoba Extends Waiver of International Fuel Tax Agreement Credential Requirements

Manitoba has announced in Information Notice Fuel 20-04, “International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Extension of Waiver of IFTA Credentials,” that it is temporarily waiving IFTA credentials requirements for Manitoba carriers until November 15, 2020. The waiver covers both licence and decal requirements.

The province is also requesting that other jurisdictions hold off on enforcement action against Manitoba IFTA carriers until November 15, 2020 (i.e., where the vehicle operator does not carry a valid Manitoba IFTA licence or display the IFTA decal while travelling through another jurisdiction).
