DALLAS (Jan. 22, 2020) – Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced that Kevin Hassett has been named to the Ryan Board of Managers. Mr. Hassett will provide strategic direction and insight to help guide the Firm’s impressive growth path to becoming a billion-dollar global brand in tax. He becomes the ninth member of the Ryan Board of Managers, and the fifth executive from outside the Firm.
Mr. Hassett is the former Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers and is known for his work on tax policy. Prior to his role as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, he served as the State Farm James Q. Wilson Chair in American Politics and Culture and Director of Research for Domestic Policy at the American Enterprise Institute.

Mr. Hassett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Alan J. Auerbach.
