Manitoba recently issued this notice to provide further details on the broadening of the existing retail sales tax exemption for prescription smoking cessation products that was announced in the 2008 Manitoba Budget. Effective May 1, 2008, this exemption will be available to non-prescription nicotine replacement therapy products.
