The Canada Revenue Agency has made their annual revision to the guide T4130 “Employers’ Guide Taxable Benefits”. The revisions to this guide include edits to reflect the GST/HST rate reduction that went into effect on January 1, 2008. In addition, this guide discusses the new income exclusion for housing allowances paid to players on sports teams or members of recreation programs.
