Prince Edward Island has issued this notice to inform taxpayers that, effective April 1, 2009, the Prince Edward Island gasoline tax on gasoline will increase to 14.8 cents per litre from 14.5 cents per litre and on diesel oil will increase to 19.3 cents per litre from 19.0 cents per litre.
