Prince Edward Island has issued this notice to inform taxpayers that, effective January 1, 2009, the Prince Edward Island gasoline tax on gasoline will decrease to 13.2 cents per litre from 14.0 cents per litre and on diesel oil will decrease to 19.2 cents per litre from 20.2 cents per litre.
