British Columbia Updates Bulletin on Direct Sellers and Independent Sales Contractors

British Columbia has updated Bulletin PST 004, “Direct Sellers and Independent Sales Contractors”, which outlines the definitions for, and differences between, direct sellers and independent sales contractors and describes the distinctive PST registration and collection method that these persons must use.

This most recent update includes the addition of examples throughout the bulletin to clarify various concepts, as well as expanded discussion on the refunds available to independent sales contractors.
