Manitoba Finance Updates Registration Requirements for Small Businesses

The Taxation Division of Manitoba Finance has published Notice RST 15-01, to update the registration requirements for small businesses.  Specifically, the Notice states that organizations that sell liquor and/or tobacco products are specifically excluded from the small business exception.  Therefore, businesses that sell these products are required to register and collect Manitoba Retail Sales Tax.
