Canada Revenue Agency Updates Guide on GST/HST Rulings

The Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) has released an updated version of publication RC4405, “GST/HST Rulings – Experts in GST/HST Legislation”, which provides instruction on how taxpayers can obtain timely technical guidance on the application of GST/HST.  This release indicates that taxpayers may now submit ruling or interpretation requests electronically through the “My Business Account” portal.  In the past, these requests could only be made by submitting a written application to the CRA.
