Dallas, Texas -- G. Brint Ryan, Managing Principal of Ryan & Company, announced today that William F. Yancey, Ph.D., C.P.A., will join Ryan & Company as a Senior Manager and National Director of the Firm’s Audit Sampling Practice effective February 1, 1999. Ryan & Company, one of the largest state and local tax consulting firms in the United States, currently has the leading transaction tax practice in the nation. Dr. Yancey's responsibilities will include the design and evaluation of audit sampling methodologies for multi-state tax audits for Ryan & Company's clients. Additionally, Dr. Yancey will continue his active schedule of speaking engagements and lectures at tax conferences and universities.
Ryan & Company recently announced that former State Comptroller John Sharp joined the Firm as a shareholder. Mr. Sharp, based in the Austin Office of Ryan & Company, is responsible for representing Ryan & Company to the Texas and national business community.
